The BC-SMART consortium facilitates knowledge exchange to stimulate the development and deployment of technology (hardware) and policy (software) ways of decarbonising the long-distance transport sector. It produces reports, newsletters workshops, etc., that describes progress in low Carbon Intensive (CI) fuels production-and-use while bringing together the main players (feedstock suppliers, oil refiners, customers, etc.) involved in the low-CI biofuels value chain. The website (www.BC-SMART.ca) describes the many partners involved in the consortium and access to the various reports that have been published to stimulate action and discussion in this area. The group also does confidential work for governments, and companies (such as Boeing)
