The U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration has announced its Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee will hold a virtual meeting on Nov. 30. The meeting is open to the public, but registration is required.&nbsp;REEEAC provides the Department of Commerce with advice from the private sector on the development and administration of programs and policies to expand the export competitiveness of U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency products and services.&nbsp;The Nov. 30 meeting will be the fifth meeting of the REEEAC’s current charter term. During the event, the committee will deliberate on the approval of several recommendations.&nbsp;The REEEAC currently includes more than 30 members, including representatives Lignetics, a wood pellet producer, and the Renewable Fuels Association, a trade association for America’s ethanol industry. &nbsp;Additional information on the Nov. 30 meeting is available on the Federal Register <a href="https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2023/11/17/2023-25452/renewable-energy-and-energy-efficiency-advisory-committee">website</a>.
