The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) is the state's principal economic development agency. DEED programs promote business recruitment, expansion, and retention; international trade; workforce development; and community development.

The Nebraska Ethanol Board works to ensure strong public policy and consumer support for biofuels. Since 1971, the independent state agency has designed and managed programs to expand production, market access, worker safety and technology innovation, including recruitment of producers interested in developing conventional ethanol, as well as bio-products from the ethanol platform.

The NPUASTS, a FAA-designated UAS Test Site, is committed to leading the nation in autonomous solutions and advancing technologies to bring tangible benefits to communities. Through research, commercialization, and active participation in policy and standards development, the NPUASTS is at the forefront of safely integrating UAS into the NAS.
