XCF Global Inc., the owner of a 38 MMgy sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) plant located near Reno, Nevada, on June 24 announced plans to license its integrated SAF platform. On June 26, the company signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Continual Renewable Ventures Pty. Ltd. to develop SAF projects in Australia. &nbsp;According to XCF, its licensing strategy centers on the company’s patent-pending site design, which was developed to enable efficient deployment and scalability while lowering capital intensity. The modular platform allows new SAF capacity to be brought online quickly, efficiently and at scale, the company added.&nbsp;"As demand for synthetic aviation fuel grows globally, we see tremendous growth opportunities through smart, localized partnerships," said Mihir Dange, CEO and board chair of XCF Global. "XCF's platform reflects a disciplined and practical approach, built for speed, efficiency, and global relevance. Our international expansion strategy allows us to support new markets with the infrastructure they need - while staying capital-light and focused on execution."The MOU signed between XCF and Continual seeks to launch New Rise Australia Pty. Ltd. (New Rise AU), a venture dedicated to the development and commercialization of SAF projects in Australia. New Rise AU is expected to operate under a licensing agreement that leverages XCF’s integrated SAF platform. Definitive agreements are expected to be completed in the coming months, with legal, technical and commercial diligence already underway."This partnership underscores the strength of XCF's platform and validates our unique, capital-efficient approach to facility development. XCF Global’s stock on June 9 began trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol SAFX.&nbsp;The SAF facility near Reno was initially developed as a renewable diesel plant under the name Ryze Renewables Reno LLC. Development of the facility was supported by a USDA loan guarantee. The plant commenced renewable diesel production in mid-2022.The facility was operating under the name New Rise Renewables when in April 2024 plans were announced to convert the renewable diesel plant to SAF production. The plant was the subject of at least two acquisition agreements that were eventually cancelled before XCF Global Capital completed the acquisition of the facility earlier this year.&nbsp;The facility, currently referred to as New Rise Reno, began producing SAF in February 2025. The first customer deliveries of neat SAF were completed in March.
